End Times prophecies of Catholic saints - published for the first time anywhere

India vaporizes Pakistan in a surprise nuclear attack. India, Japan, China and North Korea legalize the breeding of baby girls for spare body parts and organs. And a new wave of angel sightings in every state but South Carolina confirms the worst - Satan has set up a field office and base of operations in the Heart of the American South.

Those are just a few of the mind-twisting prophecies that the Vatican has released from recently canonized but still highly regarded Saints Genoveva Torres, Jose Maria Rubio, Pedro Poveda, Angela de la Cruz, and Maravillas de Jesus. The saints,  all Spaniards, have long been recognized for their work with the poor in the 19th century, when they were born, and the 20th century, when they died.

But it has only now come to light that each of them was a prophet who secretly recorded a bizarre and sometimes chilling vision of our future.

Here - from the Holy See’s secret vaults - are more blockbuster prophecies that are expected to come to pass between now and the year 2012. They first appeared in Rome‘s respected Il Giornale newspaper and are printed here in a direct, unedited translation:

Genoveva Torres (1870-1956) - a nun who founded the Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and of the Holy Angels.

The SARS mystery flu that threatened to become a pandemic in 2005 will rear its ugly head again with a vengenance, sweeping the planet and killing at least 200 million healthy people before it runs it course. But the news isn’t all bad. Instead of snuffing patients with terminal cancers and AIDS, the virus will make them deathly ill — and then cure them.

A staggering 100 million Christians are lifted directly into Heaven alive in the fulfillment of Bible prophecy that promised the faithful “Heaven without death.” Just days later, 200,000 Christians who didn’t “make the cut” commit suicide rather than live in a world that they consider Satanic.

The Lost Continent of Atlantis surfaces in the Pacific Ocean just 40 miles off the coast of California. Some 600 survivors are found in suspended animation in a deep freeze powered by an ancient nuclear reactor. Equally compelling, when thawed, the survivors speak the “click language” of dolphins.

A 500-foot-tall Jesus Christ is spotted in the sky over major cities the world over. A giant Buddha and Mohammed turn up, too - as does a glowering, mile-high “Satan’s head” that dwarfs all the holy men combined.

The death of beloved Pope Benedict in a freak “Popemobile” rollover accident will have a happy ending when the spry Pontiff miraculously claws up out of his grave - and ascends into Heaven alive.

Pedro Poveda (1874-1936) – a priest who was assassinated at the start of the Spanish Civil War.

The rapid-fire assassinations of 40 religious leaders bring organized religion to its knees, setting the stage for the establishment of a godless, one-world government that true believers have feared for thousands of years.

Rumors that Christ has returned to Earth pale before news that Nazi madman Adolf Hitler and Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein have, in fact, risen from the dead and are back on Earth - spreading hate and venom in the unholy names of Satan and the Antichrist.

The development of computerized “turbo-minds” that can be wired directly into the human brain are the technological breakthrough that will make stupidity and other intellectual deficiencies obsolete. Economy models provide users with IQ improvements of 10 to 20 points. High-end models will turn rich folks into virtual Einsteins and Voltaires. Technophobes, fundamentalists and and poor people will call the breakthrough “the work of the Devil.” Rich people and atheists will stand in line to buy them.

Human rights activists condemn the practice - but thousands of wealthy Americans, including top movie stars and politicians, flock to the East for new hearts, livers, lungs, kidneys and more.

Single and teenage mothers and even some well-to-do families abandon babies and young children in record numbers, creating a massive underclass of street urchins in big cities such as Chicago, Los Angeles, Detroit, Baltimore and New York. Social scientists say this has less to do with poverty than it does with a growing disregard for human life.

Jose Maria Rubio (1864-1929) - a priest who encouraged others to follow Opus Dei, which advocates living a simple Christian life.

An oil rich Arab sheik both terrifies and fascinates people everywhere with the announcement that he has successfully undergone the world’s first “body transplant” — an operation that placed his 86-year-old head and brain on the body of a 14-year-old accident “friend of the family.“

Not one but 26 incurable new “super-viruses” are identified as they break out of the jungles of Africa and spread like wildfire to every continent. At least two of the bugs cause a hellish curse: unstoppable, round-the-clock orgasms for women — and permanent, painful erections for men.

Panic grips America’s post-war Baby Boomers after doctors discover that virtually everyone who sampled five or more hits of mind-twisting LSD in the 1960s will suffer at least some Alzheimer’s-like memory loss by the age of 55.

Panic also grips the nation’s capitol when several key Congressmen are stricken with bubonic plague that is believed to have been released by terrorists. Some semblance of calm is restored when it is proved the disease was spread by fleas leaping off infected rats on Capitol Hill.

People of Earth face wild and even terrifying extremes of weather that will punish the planet unrelentingly. The four seasons become increasingly indistinct, with snow and ice storms striking areas as hot and dry as the Sahara Desert while heat waves melt polar ice caps.

Angela de la Cruz (1846-1932) - a nun who founded the Sisters of the Company of the Cross.

An out-and-out cure for cancer vanishes along with the six researchers who discovered it just hours before they are scheduled to hold a news conference sharing their findings with the world. Foul play is suspected - and Satan is implicated.

The disintegration of the American family accelerates with the passage of federal laws that strip parents of the right to raise children as they see fit. Not the least of these laws forces parents to rip children out of their loving homes and place them in so-called “accelerated kindergarten” classes “for secular indoctrination” at the tender age of six months.

Long blamed for contributing to teenage violence by producing TV shows and movies that celebrate murder and mayhem, Hollywood hits back with dozens of new films and shows that mock genuine American masculinity and toughness - and promote the “effeminate sweetness” of homosexual lifestyles instead.

Desperate to curb violence and gunplay in America’s schools and colleges, Congress enacts a law that makes parents an actual accessory to any crime committed by a child under the age of 30, including possession of drugs and firearms, driving while intoxicated, murder and even lesser offenses such as loitering and indecent exposure.

Maravillas de Jesus (1891-1974) - a nun who founded convents for the Order of Barefoot (Discalced) Carmelites.

An estimated 40,000 militant feminists celebrate the “total and complete legalization” of abortion by getting pregnant — not to bring babies into the world, but to simultaneously abort them eight months later on what will come to be known as “Abortion Day.”

Thousands of extraterrestrial refugees arrive on Earth as their own planets begin to “disintegrate” under pressures from a “satanic force.” Although they appear to be benevolent, the idea that mankind is not alone in the universe and isn’t God’s special creation throws hundreds of millions of people into spiritual crisis.

The United States begins to separate into five distinct pieces under the pressures of continental drift, polar instability and a devastating series of monster earthquakes that rip the country apart at its seams. On the other side of the world, the Holy Land vanishes in a huge “sinkhole.”
