I walk with angels - and you can, too
Dear Your World Report Editor Derek Clontz,
In my work doing readings and particularly healings, I connect with
Angels. Shock horror. He connects with Angels! I hear you say. Well how do I know that?
Heres a story that tells of is one of the first and most profound times I realised I
wasnt alone in this earthbound matter called a body.
When I was very much younger, 13 to be exact, I was already aware that
spirits came to talk with me and I usually rejected thier approaches because of fear and
shame of what I have now come to accept as my gift.
However there was no mistaking the extraordinary sequence of events that
unfolded the day my mother passed away. This is the first time I have publicly told this
story and I tell it to illustrate the beauty and magic of help unseen. They also sadly
often go un-thanked. This is my day to say thank you to
the Angels
I am the older of two brothers who were out picnicking in the beautiful
Coromandel ranges in New Zealand where we grew up. The ranges hold a myriad of magical
treasures so we often spent time as a family on weekends exploring and digging out
Crystals in the form of quartz, amethyst, carnelian jasper, and many more.
This day however turned out to be a lot different from those usual
family days in the wilderness.
This day was spent with our Mum & Dad. Towards the end of the day we
lit a fire and cooked our dinner.
We decided to play a favourite game of hide n seek. Always more fun
surrounded by rivers and bush.
That day my brother and I sat beside the fire eating when an unearthly
scream shook us to the core.
That scream is etched into my memory. It was primal seemed to last an
eternity in that moment and was totally terrfifying for two young lads. Mum & Dad were
out of sight so we just looked at each other in pure bewilderment. Then Dad appeared to
tell us that Mum had fallen over a cliff.
We were to stay where we were and he would find his way down to help
Mum. it was just getting dark so he took what he needed and left us there. Something told
me I needed to do two things. First comfort my brother and second get some help. We were
miles from anywhere in the ranges but close to a main highway that connected two remote
towns.
My brother and I made our way to our car feeling lost and scared
witless.
Again, something told me I had to do something. The first thing that
came to my mind was pray. I was never religious and still arent. But that was what I
did and asked my brother to join me.
I had never prayed before (apart from praying to get out of Sunday school years earlier,
that's another story). In answer to my prayer again I got the message to go to the road
and stop cars for help.
It was late, dark and the road was not a busy one so I was afraid help
would be a long time coming. However, as I got to the road I could see a cars lights in
the distance so I stood on the road and waved it down. The guy who stopped asked what was
up and immediately grasped the seriousness of what had happened. He also told me he was a
doctor on his way to his holiday home.
Amazingly he had his doctors bag with him.
My brother and I returned to our car and prayed again as the Doctor made
his way through the bush and down the cliff in darkness with his bag. Again I was told to
stop another car. So I set off back to the road and stopped another car. This second car
turned out to be my mothers cousin who hadnt seen Mum in about 15 years. She stayed with
me and my brother while her husband drove for help and an ambulance.
My Mum died on a riverbed that night. I am so thankful that her passing
was made easier from the help she got. Two young boys and a distraught husband also were
helped through that night and the nights that followed. I am so thankful I was then
listening to the messages from my prayers.
The power in prayer, intention, connection whatever you want to call it
is entirely at your disposal anytime you need it. Call on it. But most of all thank it.
You realise its there and you will come to understand the outcome
isnt always going to be what you want. Nobody really wants thier Mum to die. And my
overwhelming desire was to not lose my Mum
Yet that day it seems was my Mums day to pass and without doubt she was being helped by
unseen hands that day and her passing was made all the easier by having the right people
at the right time.
I have thanked the people involved and they are in awe of the
coincidences involved in that night's events.
So do I connect and work with Angels?
Yeah.
Call them. They are waiting.
